Welcome to Amorta, a personal finance tracking app built by SystemAlpha. By downloading, installing, or using Amorta (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Amorta helps you track bills, income sources, debts, payments, and financial activity in one place. Features include recurring bill tracking, debt amortization, income scheduling, a payment logbook, and optional notifications.

Amorta is a free, local-only app. All your data is stored exclusively on your device. There are no accounts, cloud services, or subscriptions required. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Amorta. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that your use complies with any applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

Amorta operates entirely on your device. All financial data you enter — bills, income, debts, payments, and settings — is stored locally in an on-device database. No data is transmitted to SystemAlpha or any third-party server.

You are solely responsible for your data. Deleting the app, clearing app storage, or losing your device will result in permanent data loss. We recommend regular device backups through iCloud or iTunes.

Amorta is a personal tracking tool only. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, legal, investment, or tax advice. All data and calculations are provided for informational and organisational purposes.

Amorta relies entirely on information you enter. We do not connect to banks, financial institutions, or external accounts. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any data entered or displayed within the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

While we take reasonable precautions to ensure the app functions correctly, we are not responsible for loss of data due to device failure, app deletion, operating system updates, or any other circumstances beyond our control.

We strongly recommend backing up your device regularly to prevent data loss.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SystemAlpha and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed $10 USD.

You may stop using Amorta at any time by deleting the app. Since all data is stored locally, deleting the app removes all your data permanently.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
