1. Overview

Amorta is built by SystemAlpha. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data Amorta handles, how it works, and your choices.

The short version: Amorta is a local-only app. Your data stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal or financial information.

2. Data Storage

All data you enter in Amorta — including bills, income sources, debts, payment records, logbook entries, and app preferences — is stored exclusively on your device in a local database.

No data is sent to SystemAlpha servers, cloud services, or any third party. Amorta does not require an internet connection to function.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

Amorta does not collect:

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Financial data (bank accounts, card numbers, transaction history)
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Crash reports sent to our servers

We have no servers receiving data from the app. Your data exists only on your device.

4. Notifications

Amorta can send local push notifications to remind you of upcoming bills and payments. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external service.

You can enable or disable notifications at any time through the app settings or your device settings.

5. Home Screen Widget

Amorta offers an optional home screen widget that displays your upcoming bills. The widget reads data from a shared on-device database using an iOS App Group. This data never leaves your device.

6. Third-Party Services

Amorta does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The app functions entirely offline.

The only third-party involvement is the Apple App Store, which handles app distribution. Apple's own privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete all your data by deleting the app.

There is no data on our servers to request deletion of, because we never receive your data in the first place.

8. Security

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, encryption). Amorta does not implement additional encryption beyond what your device provides, as the data never leaves the device.

We recommend keeping your device updated and using a strong passcode to protect your data.

9. Children's Privacy

Amorta is not directed at children under 13. Since the app does not collect any data, there is no risk of collecting personal information from children. However, parental guidance is recommended for younger users managing finances.

10. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through app updates where possible.

Continued use of Amorta after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
